Pearl Bouquet began as a celebration. Not only of beauty, but of the many qualities Shama sees in the Emirati women around her: grace that feels effortless, ambition that continues to grow, a deep sense of identity, generosity, resilience, and a presence that can be both gentle and powerful.

So she imagined a garden for them. The pearls move through the design like a precious thread, weaving between golden arches and abundant flowers in teal, coral, yellow, ivory, and pink.

The pearl was chosen because something so small can carry such presence. It is refined without needing to be loud. And in Pearl Bouquet, it does not sit alone as an ornament. The strands move throughout the entire composition, connecting one bloom to another, one arch to the next. Almost like generations, stories, values, and experiences passing gently forward.

The golden arches bring a feeling of identity and place, while the flowers represent something Shama deeply wanted the design to hold: growth. Different flowers bloom in different colours and different forms, because there has never been only one way to be an Emirati woman. One may lead. Another may nurture. One may build. Another may create. And many do several of these things at once.

They each bloom differently, yet they belong together. That is the heart of this pattern.

Pearl Bouquet is Shama's tribute to Emirati women, to what they carry from those before them, what they are creating today, and everything they are still becoming. Not a portrait of one woman. A bouquet created in celebration of many.
